## Feature Overview

Catalog Policies allows authorized administrators to view catalog details and manage standards for a storefront in SHI One.

With this feature, you can:

- View your storefront's base catalog
- Search catalog products
- Verify whether products are purchasable (**In Catalog**)
- Manage standards (**In Standards**)
- Enable **Standards-Only Catalog** to restrict shopping to approved products

**Note:** Catalog inclusion is managed by SHI. To add or remove products from your catalog, contact your SHI representative.

**Navigation:** Standards > Manage Standards > Catalog

## Access

Available to:

- Admin
- Procurement Admin
- Global Admin
- Storefront Manager

Members and shoppers do not have access.

## Key Concepts

- **Base Catalog:** The catalog assigned to your storefront.
- **In Catalog:** Indicates whether a product is available for purchase. View-only.
- **In Standards:** Indicates whether a product is part of your approved standards list.
- **Standards-Only Catalog:** Limits shoppers to products included in standards.

**Important:** Products must already exist in your catalog before they can be added to standards.

- Review your assigned catalog
- View product distribution summaries
- Search catalog products
- Review product details and availability

### Manage Standards

- Add products to standards
- Remove products from standards
- Organize products into standards folders

### Control Product Visibility

- Enable or disable Standards-Only Catalog
- Validate catalog and standards status

### Who can access Catalog Policies?

Admins, Procurement Admins, Global Admins, and Storefront Managers.

### Can I add or remove products from my catalog?

No. Contact your SHI representative.

### Can I change the base catalog?

No. Base catalog assignments are managed by SHI.

### What does Standards-Only Catalog do?

Restricts shoppers to products included in standards.

### Do standards changes take effect immediately?

Changes are reflected in near real-time.
