PSM Bluetooth Settings - Allow Advertising
Description: Specifies whether the device can send out Bluetooth advertisements. If this is not set or it is deleted, the default value of 1 (Allow) is used. Most restricted value is 0.
Why It's Important: This policy is like preventing a device from broadcasting its location or identity in a public space. By blocking Bluetooth advertising, SHIELD helps reduce the device’s exposure to unsolicited connections, tracking attempts, or potential Bluetooth-based attacks. It strengthens privacy and security, especially in environments where wireless communication must be tightly controlled.
